Potential applicants have to apply for admission to the College of Graduate Studies and Research of the University and to the graduate program of the Department of Computer Science. Admissions information is available here. The application procedure is quite competitive, so excellent marks are a prerequisite. Potential candidates need to have good command of English (either TOEFL score of 90-100 or IELTS (computer based) 6.5-7.0. There is an application fee ($75), non-refundable. You need to apply online for admission first to the College of Graduate Studies and then, to the Department of Computer Science ( see the procedure here). Please, indicate in the department application form that you are interested in area "social computing" or "distributed systems" and mention explicitly in your statement of purpose that you want to work in the MADMUC lab and with which professor.
