Wiki forms a new model of virtual collaboration and it has been implemented by various organizations to achieve group goals (e.g. building artifact, collaborative learning). Task conflict emerged from wiki-based collaboration can be helpful to achieve a better group performance. However, few studies have utilized task conflict to support the wiki-based collaboration process and wiki systems themselves have limitations to meet user's needs. This project has at least two goals:
(1) by using measurable items extracted from wiki database, the pair-wise relationships among task conflict, participation, task complexity and group performance are evaluated;
(2) visual feedback about task conflict is designed based on wiki "page history" to address the issues due to lack of sense of audience, psychological ownership and content trust. Further evaluation will be conducted.
